Terms and Conditions

Last updated August 14, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your enrollment in and use of Rooted University, an online discipleship school operated by Ashley Hepperly ("we," "us," or "our"). By enrolling, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not enroll.

What Rooted University is

Rooted University is an online discipleship program that includes live teaching sessions, recorded teachings in a growing library, community access, and supporting materials. Live sessions currently run on a six weeks on, two weeks off rhythm. Session times, schedule, and curriculum may change, and recordings are made available in the library.

We may add, update, or remove content over time. Enrollment gives you access to the program as it exists and develops, not to any specific piece of content indefinitely.

Enrollment and payment

Rooted University is offered on two plans:

  • Full year: a one-time payment of $997.
  • Monthly: a recurring payment of $97 per month.

Founding rates are offered to early enrollees. If you enroll at a founding rate and maintain continuous enrollment, your rate will not increase for as long as your enrollment remains active. If your enrollment lapses or is cancelled, re-enrollment will be at the then-current rate.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full payment card details.

Automatic renewal and cancellation

The monthly plan renews automatically each month until you cancel. Your card will be charged the monthly rate on the same day each billing cycle.

You may cancel at any time by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will keep access through the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again after that.

Refunds

All sales are final. If you enroll and find that Rooted University genuinely is not right for you, you may request a full refund within three days of your purchase by emailing [email protected]. After three days, payments are non-refundable.

If you are unsure whether the school is a fit, we recommend starting on the monthly plan.

Your access

Your enrollment is personal to you. Login credentials are for your use only and may not be shared, sold, or transferred. We may suspend or terminate access for shared credentials or other misuse.

Intellectual property

All teachings, recordings, written materials, workbooks, blueprints, books, and other content provided through Rooted University are owned by Ashley Hepperly and are protected by copyright.

You may use these materials for your own personal growth and discipleship. You may not record, copy, redistribute, republish, sell, or use them to create competing programs or materials without written permission.

Community conduct

Rooted University includes access to a community space. By participating, you agree to treat others with kindness and respect, to keep what others share in confidence, and not to use the community for harassment, promotion, solicitation, or spreading content that is abusive, defamatory, or unlawful.

We may remove content or remove a participant from the community at our discretion where conduct is harmful to others or to the purpose of the program.

Not professional advice

Rooted University offers spiritual teaching, discipleship, and pastoral encouragement. It is not therapy, counseling, medical care, mental health treatment, legal advice, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for any of those.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or a medical emergency, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services.

No guarantees

We are committed to teaching faithfully and serving you well. We cannot and do not guarantee any specific spiritual, personal, relational, or professional outcome from participation. Your growth depends on many things outside our control.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ashley Hepperly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your enrollment in or use of Rooted University. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your enrollment if you breach these terms, including by sharing access, violating community conduct standards, or infringing intellectual property. Where enrollment is terminated for breach, refunds are at our discretion.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or posted here with an updated date. Continued enrollment after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles.
